A trophy marking the return of the Major to North America

A trophy marking the return of the Major to North America
The BLAST.tv Austin Major trophy was created to embody the prestige of the first Counter-Strike 2 Major to be held in North America in almost eight years. Marking a historic moment for Esports, its design celebrates competition and excellence while honouring the game’s finest teams and players.
Techniques used
The trophy stands 75 cm tall, adopting the shape of a fragmented triangle, and displays the logos of the top 32 participating teams on its front face.
The metal trophy, awarded to the winning team, was designed as a prestigious centrepiece for the event. Standing 75 cm tall, it takes its form from the BLAST logo: a stylised triangle fragmented into three sections.
The front faces of the three sections feature the logos of all 32 teams that qualified for the tournament, arranged according to their performances across the competition’s three stages.
At the top of the trophy, the eight highest-performing teams from Stage 3 are prominently featured, representing the elite of the Major.
It was also accompanied by five individual trophies, awarded to the best-performing players. Identical in design, these trophies take the form of black rectangular monoliths with a textured surface. Each of their four faces features a portion of the event’s name, rendered in matt red.
The hollowed-out centre creates an interplay of volumes, allowing the letters to appear as if they are floating within the structure. Fully 3D-modelled, the trophies were printed in resin, then primed and painted in black and red with a matt finish.
