The perfect balance between elegance and whimsy
This trophy was created for the finals of the international Red Bull Instalock Esports tournament, held in London, England, in April 2024.

We wanted to create an elegant, slender structure designed to showcase Radianite, the unique source of energy within the world of Valorant.
The idea behind this trophy was to create a simple yet elegant structure, while highlighting the supernatural nature of the game.
Featuring a metallic finish, the trophy is composed of an arrangement of refined, abstract forms that intertwine with one another. The slender forms at the centre support and embrace a transparent sphere positioned at the top.
With its subtle blue tint, the sphere resembles a source of energy, echoing Radianite, the supernatural form of energy that is central to the world of Valorant.
To create the trophy, we first sketched the design from different angles before developing the 3D model and producing it through 3D printing. It was then finished with a metallic grey paint. The sphere was made from clear acrylic resin, tinted throughout for an integrated, translucent colour.
